Steven previously worked in Auckland and Melbourne-based law firms with time spent at KPMG, giving him strong experience in financial investment and operational functionality in both NZ and Australian business environments. This makes him a valuable asset to Asian and Australian businesses and individuals entering the New Zealand market.

Our Asian Investment Team leader, Steven is fluent in Cantonese and actively involved in the Asian community. His cross-cultural understanding means he can help clients navigate New Zealand law, especially in the areas of family wealth, gifting, early inheritances and loans.

Known for his strong communication skills, Steven works closely with clients face-to-face or over the phone to gain deeper insight into their needs. This is especially important for international clients, who require not just meticulous and thoughtful translation of languages, but of laws.
